Hi everyone, today's video is a super easy and fun idea for Halloween. It does take sometime to prepare so I recommend you make these the day before your Halloween party.

Makes: 24
Ingredients:

  • 1 box Cake Mix (any flavor and brand you like) + Ingredients to prepare the cake
  • ¼-½ cup frosting (any flavor and brand you like)
  • lollipops sticks

For Decorating:
  • 12oz White Chocolate (melted)
  • 4-6oz Dark Chocolate (melted)

Prepare and bake the cake according to the instructions on the package. Let it cool completely and then crumble until you get the texture of very fine crumbs.

Heat up the frosting in the microwave for about 30 seconds or so, just until it softens a little bit. Add about ¼ cup of frosting to the cake crumbs, and mix well, until everything is incorporated.

Grab about 1½ tablespoons of the cake mixture and roll it into a ball with your hands, if the cake-balls has any large cracks or its crumbling, your cake mixture its too dry, so add a little more frosting.  You want the cake mixture to be soft and very moist.  Add as much frosting as you need to.

Once the cake mixture has the consistency that you want (soft and moist), now start making your cake-pop, you can make them any size you want.

Now melt about 2-3 tablespoons of chocolate and dip the lollipops stick in the melted chocolate,  you just want to cover the tip of the stick with the melted chocolate, so just dip about 1½ or 2 inches of the stick and after that, insert the stick right into the center of the cake-pop. The melted chocolate on the stick will act as glue and will keep the cake-pop right in place.  Once your cake-pops have the stick on them, place them in the refrigerator for 1 hour or until they are cold and firm.

After an hour or so, you can decorate your cake-pops. Melt the white chocolate. (follow the instructions on the package.  (I melted mine in the microwave.)

Dip the cake-balls into the melted white chocolate until well covered with it. Let the excess chocolate drip off,  and keep on repeating this step until all your cake pops are covered with the melted chocolate.

Use the melted dark chocolate to draw a spooky face on your cake pops and that's about it.
Decorate them any way you want and have fun!  After you are done, place them back in the refrigerator for 30 minutes then enjoy!

Hi everyone! Today's recipe is another Mexican dish! I hope you like it!

Serves 4
Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Meat ( I used turkey, feel free to use any meat you prefer)
  • ½ cup chopped Onion
  • ¼ cup chopped Cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons dry breadcrumbs (Panko) (optional)
  • 1 lb Tomatillos (Green Tomatoes)
  • 5-10 Jalapeño Peppers
  • small piece of Onion (2-3 tablespoons)
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1-2 tablespoons Chicken Flavor  bouillon
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • ½ tablespoon vegetable or olive oil
  • 2½ cups water
  • 1 large Potato cut in chunks

Peel off the tomatillos and remove the stems from the Jalapeño peppers, rinse them well and cover them with enough water. Cook on high heat for about 10 minutes or until soft. Place in a blender, add 1 cup of water, a small piece of onion, 1 garlic clove and ½ tablespoon of chicken flavor bouillon seasoning.  Blend on high for about 2 minutes or until well blended and smooth.

In a large saucepan heat up  ½ tablespoon of oil, add in the green salsa and cook on high heat for about 10 minutes or until it boils.

In a large bowl, combine ground meat, chopped cilantro and chopped onion, season with 1 tablespoon of chicken flavor bouillon and black pepper to taste. Mix well and if the meat mixture feels too wet add 2 tablespoons of Panko breadcrumbs,  make the meatballs any size you prefer.

Add the meatballs to the jalapeño sauce, and cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes.  Taste the flavor, add more salt and pepper if necessary, also add in the potato chunks and cook for another 10 more minutes or until potatoes are completely cooked.  As soon as the potatoes are done, serve.

Hi everyone today's video is "how to make buttermilk Biscuits!" I hope you like them, they are perfect for an easy breakfast or just to serve with your dinner, or enjoy with a cup of coffee! Enjoy!

Makes 12 Large Buttermilk Biscuits
Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1½ cups of buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2/3 cups of cold unsalted-butter cut in small cubes
  •  ¼ cup melted butter

Preheat oven to 450ºF

In a large bowl sift together the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and sugar, mix well. Add in the cold butter cut in small cubes and with your hands, combine the flour and butter until you get the texture of coarse breadcrumbs

Add in the buttermilk, and with your hands, continue to combine all the ingredients together until you get everything to form a soft dough. If you think the dough is too dry, feel free to add 1 or 2 more tablespoons of buttermilk or sprinkle some water over the dough.

Transfer to a floured surface and knead for about 3 minutes or until the dough doesn't' stick to your hands anymore. Roll out the dough to 1in or  3/4 inch thickness and cut your biscuits.

Place them on a baking sheet,  brush them with the melted butter and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Once they come out of the oven, brush them once again with melted butter and Enjoy!
